1. For educational and qualification degree “Bachelor” and educational and qualification degree “Master” for Restoration major only

The National Academy may apply to train foreign nationals in the order specified by the Ordinance on state requirements for admission of students at universities in Bulgaria.

Admission of students who are nationals of countries - members of the European Union and European Economic Area National Academy is carried out under the conditions of Art. 68, para. 6 of the Act. ("Acceptance of students, post-graduate students - citizens of countries - members of the European Union and European Economic Area shall be subject to the terms and conditions set for the Bulgarian citizens."

Prospective students from countries of the European Union and European Economic Area that do not meet the requirements of Art. 68, para. 6 of the Higher Education Act, as decided by the AU of the academy are trained on payment of annual fee in euros, according to Art. 95, para. 7 of the Higher Education Act after passing the verification tests.

It is a condition for foreigners applying the academy, is to undergo training in Bulgarian language and successfully take an exam in Bulgarian language before going to I year.

Foreign nationals applying for training under the Higher Education Act - Art. 95, para. 7 (non-nationals) and para. 9 (persons with dual citizenship), submitted at the National Academy to 7/29/2011, and from 01.09 to 09.09.2011 on (including) and pursuant to Decree № 103 and cultural agreements - the Ministry of Education, Youth and Science, according to a schedule set by Ministry of Education, Youth and Science.

The foreign nationals submit the following documents for application of the academy:
a. Request free text, which indicate the desired degree;
b / CV;
c / diploma in secondary education / translated and legalized / concluded that entitles continuing education in universities;
d / medical certificate / translated and certified /;
e / photocopy of the national passport;
f / xerox copy of ID card / if the applicant has dual citizenship /;
g / two images;
h / document proficiency in Bulgarian.
In MEYS submit documentation declared the site of Ministry of Education, Youth and Science.

Foreign nationals who have no evidence of knowledge of Bulgarian language, are required to undergo one year training in Bulgarian language Preparatory compartment to NAA, as during the preparatory year are entitled to attend school for training in their desired specialty.

Checking exams for foreign nationals are held between 12 to 14 September 2011 pre-announced schedule of the academy, observing program for conducting tests with Bulgarian students accept foreign students are recorded on 15 and 16 September and those who apply through Ministry of Education, Youth and Science - after receiving a decision by the commission in Ministry of Education, Youth and Science.

3. Educational and qualification degree “Master”

1.) Application, accompanied by a short CV. The application form can be downloaded from the webpage of the National Academy of Art: from here

2.) Copy of the higher education diploma (educational qualification degree “Bachelor” or equivalent education from a recognized educational institution). The diploma should be certified in the consulate and translated into Bulgarian.

3) Document certifying the level of Bulgarian /if the applicant has not attended the preparatory section in Bulgarian at the National Academy of Art/;

4) Medical certificate translated into Bulgarian;

6.) Declaration confirming the sufficient finances for regular payment of tuition fee and all other costs related to the period of education at the Academy;

7.) Copy of identification card,

8.) Two recent photographs.

The application documents are submitted:

4. Educational and qualification degree “PhD”

1.) Application, accompanied by a short CV and possible dissertation theses, and a list of research publications (if applicable);

2.) Copy of the higher education diploma (educational qualification degree “Master”). The diploma should be translated into Bulgarian and certified at the consulate;

3.) Document certifying the level of Bulgarian /if the applicant has not attended the preparatory section in Bulgarian at the National Academy of Art/;

4.) Two letters of reference written by university professors or research scholars;

5.) Medical certificate translated into Bulgarian;

6.) Declaration confirming the sufficient finances for regular payment of tuition fee and all other costs related to the period of education at the Academy;

7.) Copy of identification card,

8.) Two recent photographs.

Documents are submitted throughout the year.

4. Specializations (short-term and long-term)

1.) Application with concise personal information, area of research and theme of specialization, period, preferred time of specialization;

2.) Copy of higher education diploma;

3.) Proof of language knowledge of Bulgarian or one of the official internationally recognized languages;

4.) Declaration confirming the sufficient finances for regular payment of tuition fee and all other costs related to the period of education at the Academy;

5.) Two recent photographs

6.) Copy of identification card.
